The Trump administration has ordered an immediate halt to work on a planned offshore wind project near the coast of Long Beach, arguing the Biden administration rushed the approval process.
54 1,000-foot wind turbines were planned to be built around 15 miles from the shore. Gov. Hochul responded that she would “fight this decision every step of the way.”
