A snowplow collided with a utility pole Sunday morning in Kings Park, Causing hundreds of customers to loss power and causing a fire at Superior Ice Rink in Kings Park.
The crash happened at around 8 a.m. According to PSEG Long Island, the collision resulted in four power lines being knocking out affecting roughly 650 customers.
Inside the ice rink, fire officials reported that flames broke out in the basement and quickly spread to the first floor. The facility was evacuated and no injuries were reported.
