Suffolk County has ended the red-light camera program after 14 years. The program ended after state and county lawmakers failed to take steps to extend it beyond Dec 1st.
Suffolk brought in $289.6 million in gross revenue from the red-light camera program between 2013 and 2023.
The red-light camera program is still in effect in Nassau County.
