(AP) — The average U.S. price of regular-grade gasoline fell 19 cents over the past two weeks to $4.86 per gallon. Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg says the continued decline comes as crude oil costs are also falling. Lundberg says if oil prices hold steady, motorists may see prices drop another 10-to-20 cents per gallon at the pump.
On Long Island gasoline prices are lower than the national average. GasBuddy.com reporting a gallon of regular gasoline at the Gulf Express on Veterans Memorial Highway in Islandia for as little as $4.39 and in Bethpage at the Mobil on Central Avenue, $4.29 per gallon.
